Six candidates for the transitional diaconate lie prostrate in a sign of humility and prayer before the altar in the chapel at the Archdiocesan Center at St. Thomas Seminary in Bloomfield. The chapel was filled with priests, deacons, relatives and friends who wanted to be part of the joyous occasion for the Archdiocese of Hartford and Our Lady of Grace Cistercian Abbey in Vung Tau City, Vietnam. Archbishop Henry J. Mansell ordained Carlos Andres Echavarria Ocampo, Thomas William Hickey, Sebastian Klaudiusz Kos and Anton Augustas Miranda for the Archdiocese, as well as two Trappists from Holy Apostles Seminary in Cromwell, Brother John Chrysostom (Nam) Van Nguyen and Brother Basil (Phan) Van Nguyen.
