FAIRFIELD – Fairfield University will present "The Met: Live in HD" program of "Der Rosenkavalier" at 1 p.m. Jan. 9 and 10 at the Regina A. Quick Center for the arts on the campus. "Der Rosenkavalier", Richard Strauss’ comic masterpiece of love and intrigue in 18th-century Vienna, stars Renée Fleming as the aristocratic Marschallin and Susan Graham in the trouser role of her young lover. Music Director James Levine conducts a cast that also includes Kristinn Sigmundsson and Thomas Allen. Reserved seating. Tickets are $22 adults, $20 seniors, $15 children/students.
