WEST HARTFORD – Passionist Sister Mary Ann Strain will lead a retreat for women and girls from 6-9 p.m. April 14 at Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center. She will relate the traditional moral theology of Pope Benedict XVI’s new encyclical, Caritas in Veritate, to challenges facing women and girls throughout the world today, particularly in the areas of trafficking, child labor, violence, poverty and the effects of climate change.

Sister Mary Ann  is a representative of Passionists International, an non-governmental organization (NGO) at the United Nations.  The offering of $30 includes dinner.
