BLOOMFIELD – The Serra Club of Hartford will have its annual picnic at 3 p.m. Aug. 8 at Sacred Heart Parish Hall, 26 Wintonbury Ave. This year’s event also will mark the 60th anniversary of the club, which supports vocations in the Archdiocese of Hartford.

The picnic is open to the public. Information and reservations may be obtained by calling (860) 673-1112. Donations will be accepted at the door.
