BETHLEHEM – The Gary-The Olivia Performing Arts Center of the Abbey of Regina Laudis will present Frank Loesser’s Tony Award-winning musical, "Guys and Dolls," Aug. 5-17. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. Aug. 5 through 7 and 14 through 17, with matinees at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 8 and 15.
"Guys and Dolls" features music and lyrics by Mr. Loesser and is based on Damon Runyon’s short story, "The Idyll of Miss Sarah Brown." It opened on Broadway in 1950 to an exceptional run of 1,200 performances, leading to several Broadway revivals and London West End productions, as well as a 1955 film, starring Marlon Brando, Jean Simmons, Frank Sinatra and Vivian Blaine.

. The theater box office will be open one hour before each performance. The Gary-The Olivia Theater, which seats 300, was built in 1986 with the help of Oscar- winning actress Patricia Neal.
