The annual Falcon 5k (formerly the Hyland 5K) will be held on Aug. 27 at St. Paul Catholic High School. Registration opens at 5 p.m.; the race starts at 6:30. The 5K course (3.1 miles) begins and ends at St. Paul, 1001 Stafford Ave in Bristol. The entry fee is $15 for St. Paul alumni, faculty, staff, and public participants, and $10 for students. Proceeds benefit for Father Edmund O’Brien Scholarship Fund at the school. Advance registration forms and additional information are available on the school’s Web site at www.spchs.net.

St. Paul Catholic High School, established in 1967, is a coeducational secondary school of the Archdiocese of Hartford that serves approximately 325 students in the greater Bristol area in grades nine through 12.
