NAUGATUCK – The Live Your Faith Every Day (LYFE) Ministry at St. Francis Church in Naugatuck is presenting a four-part adult education series titled "Be Not Afraid: Stay F.I.R.M. in Your Faith." The presentations will be given at 7 p.m. on Thursdays Sept. 28 through Oct. 19 in the church.

The series will focus on the development of a firm, personal belief in the Catholic faith that is solidly rooted in prayer, sacred Scripture, Tradition and the magisterial teachings of the Church. The setting will be informal. Each may include a question-and-answer period. Participants may attend any or all sessions. Each presentation is free. The first presentation is titled "Fortitude – Be Courageous for Jesus and the Catholic Church."

Tonight's topic is "Initiation – Be a Leader by Taking Initiative in Our Faith in All Aspects of Our Lives." The series will focus on the development of a firm, personal belief in the Catholic faith that is solidly rooted in prayer, sacred Scripture, Tradition and the magisterial teachings of the Church. The setting will be informal. Each may include a question-and-answer period. Participants may attend any or all sessions. Each presentation is free.
