HAMDEN –  Jim Pepitone will lead a discussionn about the film "Second-Hand Lions" from 6:30-9 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Caritas Christi Center. In this film, 14-year-old Walter (Haley Joel Osment) spends the summer with his uncles who are colorful characters. They enthrall the boy with tales of their larger-than-life adventures. Whether the tales are true or not, they teach Walter what it means to believe in something. In turn, his uncles Hub and Garth (Robert Duvall and Michael Caine) are rejuvenated and gain new perspective on their own lives. The donation is $6 (includes snack).
