NEW HAVEN – The Hospital of St. Raphael’s CareCard program for those 55-plus is sponsoring a series of talks at the hospital this fall on issues of interest to older adults and their caregivers. Topics include health care advocacy, caregiving and advance directives. A free memory screening is also scheduled. The third event, a talk titled "Becoming a Fearless Medical Advocate," will be presented from 6-7 p.m. Oct. 21 at the hospital.
Registration is required and may be arranged by calling the Healthy Aging Line at (203) 789-3275. Parking is free for CareCard members. Information about the CareCard program also is available at that number. |
