WEST HARTFORD – Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center will hold a weekend retreat Oct. 29-31 for those who live with depression or any emotion/mood disorder. It will be presented by Passionist Father John Powers, who lives with depression. Through Depression Anonymous, he found a way to recover and has discovered a new way of living. He is the author of six books for adults and two for children. He has been a co-director, producer and host of the Passionist radio and television ministry in Springfield, Mass., and rector of Passionist communities in Shrewsbury, Mass., and the Bronx.
