HAMDEN – An Evening Spiritual Book Club and a Day Spiritual Book Club both will discuss The Return of the Prodigal Son by Henri Nouwen for six weeks at the Caritas Christi Center beginning this month.

The evening group will meet from 7-9 p.m. Thursdays from Jan. 12 to Feb. 16. The day group will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays from Jan. 25 to Feb. 29.

Sister Patricia Cigrand, a member of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, will facilitate the discussion. Inspired by Rembrandt’s painting titled the "Prodigal Son," the author, in the book, provides meditations on each of the key figures in the parable.
