jubilee domThe Congregation of Daughters of Mary of the Immaculate Conception marked 175 years of combined fidelity and service of three of its sisters in the motherhouse chapel in New Britain recently.

From left, they are Mother Mary Jennifer Carroll, superior general, celebrating 50 years; Sister Mary Cyril Sudol, 75 years; and Sister Mary Esther Nowell, 50 years.

All three sisters have worked in ministries sponsored by the Daughters of Mary.

Sister Mary Cyril worked in education. Her book, A Christian's Food for Thought, was published recently. Mother Mary Jennifer also ministered in education as well as in the care of the elderly. Sister Mary Esther served in the child care and hospitality ministries.
