Staff from the Connecticut Joint Replacement Institute (CJRI) at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center recently held their first Park Beautification Day at Hartfords Sigourney Park, located in the Asylum Hill neighborhood. In addition to clearing the park of leaves and debris, CJRI staff members distributed sandwiches and presented backpacks filled with school supplies to the children of the Northend Church of Christ. A "hospital within the hospital," CJRI comprises orthopedic surgeons who are recognized nationally as experts in joint replacement. From left are Dundre Barnaby; Rev.
