Archbishop Henry J. Mansell blessed the Malta House of Care Inc. mobile health clinic recently outside St. Peter Church in downtown Hartford. The clinic will provide primary health care services and limited pharmaceuticals on a first-come, first-served basis from 1-5 p.m. every Wednesday.
The initial clinical staff will consist of medical volunteers drawn
from active and retired staff of St. Francis Hospital and Medical
Center in Hartford and other health care professionals in the area.
Additional days and sites may be added as the program develops.
Archbishop Mansell said the mobile health clinic will offer services to
the uninsured without regard for a patient’s race, color or religion.
