Volunteers for the St. Ann's Cares committee of St. Ann Parish in Avon take a break from their work recently with Passionist Father David Cinquegrani, retreat director at Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center in West Hartford. The volunteers painted and refurbished 19 rooms at the retreat center as one of the group's activities this year. From left are Jeff Clarke, Jeff Glaude, Paula deSilva, Andrew Glaude, Tom Lenihan and Father Cinquegrani. St. Ann's Cares a subcommitteee of the parish social action committeee is in its 16th year of providing renovation services and materials for facility improvements to needy people and nonprofit organizations.
