ascj_Hoffner HAMDEN – Sister Christine Ann Hoffner, a member of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, professed her perpetual vows during a eucharistic liturgy on July 30 in the chapel at the order’s provincial house.

Bishop Michael R. Cote of Norwich was the principal celebrant. A reception and dinner for sisters, families and friends followed.

The profession concluded a week-long retreat directed by Father Thomas Rosica, CSB.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hoffner of Chesterfield, Va., Sister Christine graduated from Ledyard High School and Stonehill College in Easton, Mass. She ministers at Cor Jesu Academy, a high school in St. Louis, Mo.
