Daoud-Judy-Bourqueprint The first mission recognition ceremony was held Sept. 8 at St. Francis Hospital to honor the founding volunteers of a five-year-old international medical mission program, during which 18 missions in three countries have been completed. More than 500 volunteers have served, and more than 3,500 patients now have improved surgical, medical and dental health care because of their efforts. Pictured from left are Dr. Ibrahim Daoud, founding member of St. Francis International Medical Missions (IMM) and medical director of the Red Team; Sister Judy Carey, vice president of mission integration and liaison to IMM; and Dr. Michael R. Bourque, founding member of IMM and medical director of the Blue Team. (Photo submitted)
