For its last week on Broadway, the revival of the Comden, Green and Bernstein musical "On The Town" has a new star, Misty Copeland, playing Ivy Smith, the show's subway poster girl.
Last spring, Ms.Copeland became the first African-American female principal of the American Ballet Theater.
She earned raves on her theatrical debut as Ivy Smith, and critics say she should add Broadway to her resume.
Ms. Copeland and "On The Town" are on until Sept. 6 at the Lyric Theater on West 42nd St. (212-307-4100 and onthetownbroadway.com.)
