BLOOMFIELD – Angela Kollar, 76, of Watkins Glen, N.Y., formerly of Rocky Hill, died on April 5 at Arnot-Ogden Medical Facility in Elmira, N.Y.

She was born on May 2, 1933, in the Slovak Republic. She worked as a registered nurse and midwife until moving to the United States. Afterward, she was a longtime employee of the Archdiocese of Hartford, and worked at St. Thomas Seminary in Bloomfield, now named the Archdiocesan Center at St. Thomas Seminary.

Mrs. Kollar is survived by her husband, Anton; daughters Elena Kollar of Watkins Glen and Magdalena Brown of Rocky Hill; and three grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on April 9 at St. Mary’s of the Lake Church in Watkins Glen. Father Paul Bonacci, pastor, was the celebrant.
