…THEY SIGN – Uju Nwankwo, left, and Allison Mullings, both of Bloomfield, pose with their coach, Karl Herbert, after signing letters of intent to play basketball at Division 1 colleges next year. The ceremony took place at Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford on Nov. 11. Both students have played All-Conference at Northwest Catholic. Miss Nwankwo plays forward. She plans to attend the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark. Miss Mullings, a guard, has scored more than 1,000 points in her four years at Northwest Catholic.
