NEW BRITAIN – Free summer basketball clinics will be offered for boys in fourth through ninth grades on July 17 at St. Joseph School, 29 Edson St. The doors open at 9:30 a.m. Clinics will be from 10 a.m. to noon for boys in fourth through sixth grades, and from 12:30-2:30 p.m. for boys in grades seven through nine. The clinics are being offered by the New Britain-based Prestige Basketball Clinics. Prestige’s executive director, Sean O’Brien, won the New England CYO Championship as both player and a coach at St. Timothy Middle School in West Hartford.
