Mary Eileen Medeiros describes the stenciling process she used in creating a new banner for Assumption School in Manchester to Father Kevin Cavanaugh, pastor of Assumption, on Dec. 9 as her grandson, Nicholas, looks on. Nicholas is a seventh grader at Assumption. Mrs. Medeiros stitched and stenciled the banner, which was designed by the school’s Liturgy Club.
