FAIRFIELD – Fairfield College Preparatory School will begin construction of a student life center.

The center is designed to serve as a crossroads for important campus activities.

This state-of-the-art, technology-enriched, multipupose facility will feature a number of specialized, but functionally related spaces. It will foster synergy between the academic and co-curricular lives of the school by providing students the opportunity to meet, interact, explore and cultivate their interests outside of the classroom.

The facility will include an enhanced dining area to accommodate 500 students and other school sponsored functions; an assembly area for formal and informal meetings; and office space to support various student-based programs such as campus ministry, the SEED Diversity Program and community service.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the spring and be completed in the fall of 2015.
