Steve DiMotta, coordinator of religious education at St. Rose of Lima Parish in New Haven, talks to campers, volunteers and a variety of blow-up dinosaurs at "TrueRassic Park," the Vacation Bible School at St. Rose of Lima, on Aug. 12.

The week-long camp attracted more than 60 youngsters in kindergarten through fifth grade and adult and teen volunteers from St. Rose. Also helping are 11 students from East Catholic High School in Manchester, who stay at the rectory.

The camp draws upon the biblical theme of creation and scheduled activities include games, arts and crafts, skits, music and a trip to the Dinosaur State Park in Rocky Hill. (Photo by Mary Chalupsky)
