HARTFORD – Members of the Knights of Columbus Council 11405 of the Cathedral of St. Joseph stand with an image of the Holy Family that they carried to the sanctuary during a Mass Oct. 30 celebrating the cathedral’s “Year of Mercy Marian Jubilee and Jubilee of the Family.”
The congregation recited the Family Prayer that was printed on prayer cards distributed by the fraternal organization's members.
The prayer was composed by Archbishop William E. Lori of Baltimore, supreme chaplain of the Knights.
The Holy Family Prayer Program, which features an image of the Holy Family, began Aug. 4, 2015. Knights of Columbus councils received several Holy Family images, which were intended to be the centerpieces of prayer services at churches and council meeting places.
