MONROE, N.Y. – Sister Mary Frances Cervone, the longest-living member of the Parish Visitors of Mary Immaculate, died on April 13, 2016, at Marycrest Convent in Monroe, N.Y. She was 102.
Sister Mary Frances ministered in religious education, family visitation, sacramental preparation of children and pre-Cana work from 1952-57 at St. Paul Parish in West Haven.
She was born on Feb. 27, 1914 in Manhattan. She entered the Parish Visitors in 1933 in Manhattan.
She was a member of her order’s opening mission in Rome, N.Y.
