Xavier-grasso-webMIDDLETOWN – Xavier High School has hired alumnus Nicholas Grasso as its new director of admissions.

Mr. Grasso holds a Master of Education in Administration degree from Providence College and has an extensive background in Catholic education. He attended Catholic schools throughout his years in school. Most recently, he was a teacher and social studies network planner at Amistad Academy in New Haven.

After graduating from Xavier in 2005, Mr. Grasso earned his Bachelor of Arts in elementary education from Boston College, where he also worked in several departments involved with the recruitment and transition of incoming students. 

“I believe my experience as a teacher, my course work and related experience will help make it a seamless transition into my new role,” Mr. Grasso said. “As director of admissions, I look forward to building strong relationships with prospective students and their families to support them through the transition to Xavier High School.”
