MILFORD – Lauralton Hall students Victoria Stapleton of Fairfield and Vivian Cheng of Guilford were two of 305 top Connecticut seniors who were honored at the Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS) High School Outstanding Arts Awards Banquet held on April 6 at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington.

The banquet was sponsored by  Minneapolis-based Jostens and Bearingstar Insurance.

The CAS Outstanding Arts Awards Banquet annually recognizes two seniors in each CAS member high school for outstanding ability in the performing or visual arts. The students are selected by their schools to receive this honor.

More than 1,400 people attended the banquet.

The CAS is a nonprofit organization that serves Connecticut’s kindergarten through grade 12 public and parochial schools in all areas of interschool activity.
