WATERBURY – Hannah Murphy, Kate Bussey, Alyssa Steele, Arreyion Yates and Kladji Cepa, members of the National Honor Society at Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury, pose with Ellen Rogers, furniture coordinator at Acts 4 Ministry recently.
The honor society collected back-to-school supplies for Acts 4 Ministry, with which the school has a continuing partnership.
The honor society provided more than 400 items, including pencils, notebooks, binders, paper, folders, crayons, glue sticks, notebook and more. Donations exceeded the society's goal.
The school also donated "gently used" clothing to Acts 4 Ministry.
