Two of the B2W group’s major e-commerce sites, Submarino and Americanas, are “down” on Saturday morning. For many users, sites do not even load, with a DNS error message, or when they load incomplete content appears, making it impossible to use them.
According to Downdetector, Submarino has had problems since 12:30 a.m. Saturday. Service appears to have briefly returned to normal at 5:45am, with complaints about access difficulties rising shortly thereafter.
In social networks, official profiles of sites do not mention the difficulty of accessing them. On its Telegram group, the hacker group known as LAPSUS$, involved in attacks on the Ministry of Health and Claro, sarcastically mentioned the incident, but did not claim responsibility for the attack.
“I think Americanas and Submarino’s shopping sites, B2W, have some issues,” reads the letter posted at 2:52 a.m. this Saturday.
