UOL announced on Monday (20) that it will buy Ingresso.com, a company specializing in Sell tickets online and automation of the box office.
An agreement to acquire 100% of the company’s share capital was signed with North American Fandango Media, which also owns the Flixster, Rotten Tomatoes and Tomatometer Cinema brands.
The conclusion of the transaction is subject to approval by the Brazilian competition authorities.
“With Ingresso.com, we will promote Representation in the entertainment sector“Providing a complete content consumption experience, along with online ticket sales, is a part we haven’t been involved in before,” Paulo Samia, CEO of UOL Content and Services, said in a note.
According to him, the acquisition of the company, which has been in the market for more than 20 years, enriches the range of UOL products and services, furthering the mission of providing information and entertainment and facilitating the everyday life of consumers.
