Brazilians face difficulty in issuing a Ministry of Health certificate proving full vaccination | National newspaper

Brazilians face difficulties in issuing the certificate proving that they have completed the vaccination at the request of the Ministry of Health.

The vaccine that brings relief can be from any laboratory. As for the souvenir photo, each one has its own style, but when it comes to getting a digital certificate to prove you’re immune, there’s only one way: Connect SUS. Which can be accessed by computer, on the program website or cell phone by downloading the application.

In both cases, it is necessary to register. Then click the vaccine icon and the doses you took will appear. Information is available within ten days after vaccination. Another touch you can see in detail your data, the applicable group of vaccines and where you have been vaccinated.

Anyone who takes one dose or completes both doses can be issued a National Vaccination Certificate, a digital proof of your vaccination. There is also a QR code that confirms the authenticity of the document. The certificate can also be issued in both English and Spanish. And This document has already been accepted in some countries to allow entry to Brazilians It has also become a requirement in some states and municipalities for large events.

The problem is that many Brazilians complain of difficulties in recording their vaccination data in Connect SUS. In many of these cases, they fail to issue the certificate through the Ministry of Health application.

Systems analyst Ottavio Roma took the first dose on June 23 in São Goncalo, in the metropolitan area of Rio, but so far: “You see? I don’t have the vaccine record. We expected this to be recorded there, so in the end, this is our evidence.”

Nathan Morrow, airway worker, is a Pfizer vaccine volunteer in São Paulo and is already fully vaccinated, but he also sees no record on the application: “My first dose was 30 out of 9 last year in 2020, and the second dose 21 10. It’s been a year We almost didn’t have any records.”

When fully operational, Connect SUS will be an important tool for controlling various vaccination campaigns, says Carla Dominguez, former coordinator of the National Immunization Program.

He points out that “when you have this nominal record and determine where the person is vaccinated, you adjust the vaccination coverage and can effectively assess what that city’s coverage is, not the general data.”

Even after filing complaints, the Ministry of Health claims that the app is working normally. For data to enter the system, state and municipal vaccination centers must register with the federal network that feeds Connect SUS. Those who are not registered shall be directed by the Ministry to search for the place of vaccination. But the app also offers support for those who are having problems.

But many people complain that the only answer was: “Thank you, we appreciate your call.”
