Influenza vaccination in Mogi das Cruzes advances to other target audiences on Saturday

Next Saturday (30), the Municipal Health Service of Mogi das Cruzes will promote, from 8 am to 5 pm, Day D of the national vaccination campaign against influenza and measles.

In addition to serving the elderly aged 60 or over and health professionals, influenza vaccination will be extended to pregnant and postpartum women (women up to 45 days after childbirth); and children from 6 months to 4 years and 11 months.

During the D-Day of vaccination, all adults will also be able to receive the fourth dose against Covid-19 or any other dose that may be overdue.

The measles vaccine (MRS – measles, mumps and rubella) is intended exclusively for children aged 6 months, 4 years and 11 months (regardless of previous vaccination status) and for health workers, to update the first or second dose, if necessary.

The immunization will be carried out in all health centers and units of the Strategy for Family Health (ESF), Unica de Jundiapeba and PACS Nova Jundiapeba. Pro-Hiper drive-thru will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. only for adult audiences.

In all cases, proof of identity is necessary, and for health workers, pregnant and postpartum women, proof of their condition and a brochure of routine vaccinations must also be provided. Children should come with a routine immunization booklet. Vaccination against Covid-19 requires presentation of a CPF and vaccination card for previous doses, if applicable.

Seniors and health professionals

Until Friday (29), the influenza vaccine continues to be provided to the elderly and health professionals on demand in health units, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and in PrĂ³-Hiper drive, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. People over the age of 60 can get the fourth dose of the immune system against Covid-19, if the third dose has been applied for at least four months.
