Blessed Sacrament School in Waterbury turned into a mini-United Nations on April 8 when Michele Banach’s fourth-grade class held the school’s 26th annual Heritage Day.

The students chose countries that represented their own heritage and shared culture and food with the school community and visitors.

Countries featured included Africa, Cape Verdi, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lebanon, Lithuania, the Philippines, Poland and Puerto Rico. (Photo submitted)
