Striker Madson, one of the players on loan from Corinthians, gained fame on Tuesday. One of the Portuguese goals, Estrella Amadora, scored in a 2-2 draw with Mafra, valid for the second division of the Portuguese championship. The goal within the club was a three-game unbeaten streak as a visitor.
The striker’s good appearance on Tuesday was not the striker’s first appearance of the season. In the penultimate round of the tournament, in a match against Sporting da Covilha, Madson stood out with assists.
The match marked Madson’s fifteenth appearance of the season, 14 of them in the starting lineup. In this period, he secured five assists and two goals for Estrella Amadora, as he was on loan until next June 30.
Maddson has a contract with Corinthians until June 2023. He arrived at the club in 2019, for the Under-20 team, where he excelled, and was promoted to professional the following year, still under coach Thiago Nunes. He was on the field with professional Timão on four occasions, not scoring any goals.
The young striker has taken four loans since joining Corinthians. He had short passes through Fortaleza, Oeste, and Santa Cruz, until he reached Estrela Amadora, where he must continue until the middle of the year.
