Kanga has appeared well in the South American market in recent seasons, when he stunned Delphine by defeating the domestic league on penalties and claiming the title of Ecuadorian champion. Recently, Santos tried to hire him. And in 2019, Vasco did the same, but faced an order of US$2 million.

Kanga, in the current season, was Delphine’s start. In 29 matches in the national championship and in the local Super Cup, he scored two goals. He did not get a red card. He has the characteristics of good positioning, and he always takes free kicks and penalties. In the 2020 Libertadores, he defended Delphine in matches against Santos and Palmeiras.

Before moving to Delfín, Cangá worked at LDU. He was playing with youth teams: he played South America U-20 in 2015 and the U-17 World Cup in 2011. For the first team, he participated in three friendlies, including one against Brazil, a 1-0 defeat on September 10, 2014 in the United States , an opportunity in which he formed a duet with Irazo and acted in 90 minutes. The target was for Willian, who is currently in Corinth.

Vasco has so far announced the signing of defensive midfielder Yuri Lara (CSA), goalkeeper Thiago Rodriguez (CSA) and defender Luis Kanga (Delfin-EQU). Next should be Edemar, Bragantino’s left-back, who has an agreement in progress.

Besides them, Vasco is negotiating with strikers Raniel (Santos), Cayo Dantas (Nautico), Iori Castillo (CSA) and defender Anderson Conceicao (Cuiaba). However, Diego Souza is a great consumer’s dream and would be the heavyweight name for Vasco’s bouquet. The club are confident of signing the player who left Grêmio this week.
