An Iraqi who applied for political asylum in we The US Department of Justice announced on Tuesday (24) that he plotted to assassinate former President George W. Bush.
Shehab Ahmed Shehab, 52, spoke to an FBI informant unaware that the caller worked for the agency.
In the conversation, he said he wanted to bring at least four more Iraqis into the country across the border with Mexico to put the plan into action, according to an FBI affidavit filed in federal court in Columbus, Ohio.

Shehab was arrested today and charged in federal court with immigration offenses and complicity in the attempted murder of a former US employee.
