England begins accepting entry to Brazilians who have been vaccinated with the Corona virus without going through quarantine | Globalism

a England It was announced Monday (8) that travelers receiving the Sinovac (CoronaVac), Sinopharm and Covaxin vaccines will no longer need to comply with a ten-day quarantine.

Previously, the state did not recognize that those vaccinated with these vaccines were “fully protected” and therefore had to respect isolation upon disembarkation.

Last month , Brazil left the “red list” to me COVID-19. With this measure, mandatory quarantine in government hotels on English soil is no longer mandatory.

Brazilian travelers only submit a negative test for disease, as well as proof of vaccination at least two weeks before the last dose.

Those vaccinated in Brazil will be recognized as any British individual who has been vaccinated within the Kingdom, as long as they have been vaccinated with the following vaccinations:

  • Oxford / AstraZeneca
  • Pfizer / Biotech
  • modern
  • Janssen
  • Sinovac (known in Brazil as CoronaVac)
  • Sinopharm Beijing
  • coxavine

With Brazil removed from the “red list”, England reopened its lands to ordinary travelers. Previously, only British nationals, or resident aliens, could pass – with restrictions.

All passengers over the age of 11 are still required to get tested for Covid-19 within 72 hours before boarding a plane.

It is no longer mandatory to book a hotel authorized by the British government to stay in quarantine for ten days.

However, it will still be necessary to fill out a “Location of the Traveler” form to accompany the traveler in the event of an injury.

How is vaccination proven?

Those who have been vaccinated in Brazil will be able to prove vaccination with the national certificate Issued by the Ministry of Health in English and Spanish. The following information must be clearly visible:

  • The first and last name of the traveler
  • date of Birth
  • Brand and manufacturer of the vaccine
  • Vaccination date for each dose
  • The country or territory in which the vaccine was applied

In addition, it is also necessary:

  • Covid test on the second day after arrival
  • Fill out the form “Passenger Locator”

What if I am not 100% vaccinated?

Travelers who have only received one dose of the vaccine – or two doses of the vaccine that do not appear on the list – are not considered “fully vaccinated” by the British government and must follow different rules:

  • Current Covid test done 72 hours ago
  • Take two tests (2 and 8 days) after arrival
  • Fill out the form “Passenger Locator”
  • Self-isolate at home or anywhere else for 10 days
