Exclusive – Brutal Pact: Documentary series on the horrific murder of Daniela Perez wins first trailer with strong testimony from Gloria Perez; Watch

author’s daughter Gloria PerezDaniela was stabbed to death at the age of 22 by Guilherme de Padua and his wife, Paula Tomaz. Nearly 30 years later, Gloria has revisited the story, sharing her thoughts and feelings about the crime, classified as a double-degree murder. At that time, she was actively involved in investigations, tracking witnesses, identifying potential evidence, and helping to expose wrongdoing by the Brazilian authorities.

“I always wanted to tell this story the way it happened. In 1992 I was doing my first solo drama series, at 9pm I was back at Globo. Danny had been doing well in her career. Life seems like a beautiful, open road. We only saw good things on the horizon. But all of a sudden, it all exploded. It sucked. Truth is one, versions are many”says the author in the trailer.

The widow of actress Raul Gasola also left her statement. “Over 40 years of journalism, it was one of the most horrible and brutal things I have ever seen in my life”Gloria Maria remembers.

Daniela Pérez was killed with 18 holes in her body, in 1992, when she left a recording of the soap opera “De Corpo e Alma”, for Globo, where she was the protagonist. The author of the crime is Guilherme de Padua, who played the role of Bira in the same plot.
