Through the files of Season 5, it was possible to access the first promotional images for Call of Duty: Vanguard, which Activision is preparing to officially unveil on August 19.

The company has already confirmed that it is developing a new Call of Duty for release in late 2021 and that Sledgehammer Games is leading the way, but so far it hasn’t revealed details of the name or setup chosen.

After months of speculation about the name Vanguard and World War II as a stage for new conflicts, images of the famous Battle Royale have been discovered that show the name and even the existence of several editions. Lucas, Polina, and Wade are the agents that appear in the images, along with weapons like Snowstorm, Thunderhead and Breaker, which are weapons you can use in Campaign, Multiplayer or Zombies modes, which take place in Europe and the Pacific locations during World War II. The plot will center around the origin of the special forces that have followed in other games already released.
