Easter-Baskets1Students at East Catholic High School in Manchester fill tote bags with school supplies on Monday for the 200 students at Alfred E. Burr Elementary School in Hartford, where the high schoolers tutor the younger children. The Easter week activity was made possible by the Greater Hartford Jaycees, who gave East Catholic a $3,000 grant to pay for the bags and supplies. The bags included pencils, pens, pencil sharpeners, rulers, markers, craft kits and colored pencils. (Photo submitted)
