Pinterest launches Creator Fund in the UK

To help creators get their work across apps and the web, Pinterest has launched its first UK Creator Fund.

The Creator Fund was first launched in the United States last year and is lowering barriers to entry for creators from specially designated communities, including blacks, LGBTQIA +, Asians and Aborigines and people with disabilities.

It provides financial support and educational resources to help content creators get everything they need to get started and increase their audience.

Patterns Now open In the United Kingdom. They will initially focus on LGBTQIA + fashion and beauty creators, but may expand to other areas.

“We are committed to creating a positive and inspiring space for elevating creators from under-represented communities and discovering and celebrating their content,” said Hannah Nagane, strategic partner manager at Pinterest. “Through our Creators Fund, we can help talented people financially and academically, and provide a clear path for creators to access the tools and resources they need to succeed.”

Selected creators will be able to attend five weekly educational events and lectures and receive a cash donation of £ 20,000 with the necessary equipment.
