Atlético-MG is in the Brazilian Cup final for the third time. Minas Gerais beat Fortaleza again this time 2-1 with two goals from Diego Costa and Hulk from a penalty kick, and Romarinho scored the honorable goal through Liao de Bessi in the confrontation. With this victory, Gallo earned his third decision in the competition. Alfinegro won in 2014 and was an MP in 2016.
The Minas Gerais team managed to achieve a good result in the first match, when they beat Ceará’s team 4-0 and in the Castellao duel, Atlético once again showed the superiority of their team. This was the athlete’s third win of the year over Fortaleza, two in the Copa de Brazil and one for the Brazilian. Team Ciara also defeated the Miners in the Brazilian Championship.
Gallo’s opponent will be Athetico-PR, who beat Flamengo in the other semi-final. It will be an unprecedented final in the tournament, with matches to be held on the 8th and 15th of December.
An alternative but strong team that guarantees the ranking
Coca made five changes to the team, and saved several decision holders against Flamengo, on Saturday, October 30, in the Brazilian Championship. However, the team competed and did not allow Fortaleza to get in on the actions of the game.
Diego Costa solved the situation
The duo weren’t on the field together, but scored Alfinegro’s goals, making it 6-1 on the overall scoreboard. Gallo in the third final and Fortaleza achieved the best campaign in the history of the Copa del Rey.
Gallo will face Flamengo, on Saturday, October 30, at 7 pm, in the Maracana, for the 29th round of the Brazilian national team. Leão do Pici will head to BH to catch América-MG, also on Saturday, but at 9 p.m., in Independência.
