Petropolis – The bed occupancy rate for COVID-19 patients in the Unified Health System on Tuesday(2) is 6.67% in the clinical beds in the SUS network. The COVID ICU in the SUS network recorded an occupancy rate of 7.58%. Taking into account the entire health network of the city, including public and private hospitals, there are 12 inpatients in the city: seven in intensive care units and five in clinical beds.

So far, 205.008 tests for the disease have been carried out in the municipality, of which 49,565 results are positive and 155,326 results are negative (taking into account the rapid and swab tests).

The Department of Health indicated that the number of deaths, which currently stands at 1,550 cases, is updated in bulletins only after the death certificate is registered and the result of the patient’s examination in the epidemiological surveillance system carried out by the administrative team. This is a security measure to avoid errors in the information disclosed by the Department of Health, and the development of cases can be followed on the Coronavirus Transparency Portal, on the City Hall website (www.petropolis.rj.gov.br).
