De Queiroz scores again and Corinthians beat Osasco Audax in a practice match at CT Joaquim Grava.

On Wednesday morning, Corinthians continued preparations for their debut at Campeonato Paulista. The Sylvinho team played a training match against Odax Osasco and came out with a positive result. – (Watch the video above for more details).

The activity started at 9:30 am and was played in two matches, each halves of 35 minutes duration. In the first half, coach Sylvinho took to the field with: Cassius. Wagner, Joao; Victor; Gill, Lucas Peyton; Gabriel, Giuliano, Renato Augusto; Willian, Roger Geddes and Gustavo Mantuan.

Corinthians opened the scoring with Roger Guedes in the 11th minute after a pass from Renato Augusto. Three minutes later, Audax managed to equalize with an own goal from Gabriel. At the start of the second stage, Renato Augusto and Willian were replaced by Gustavo Silva and Gabriel Pereira. In the final stage, Cantelo replaced Gabriel, but the match remained tied.

To start the third phase of the activity, Silvino made more substitutions and played Timão with: Matthews Donnelly, Joao Pedro, Xavier, Raul Gustavo, Fabio Santos; Cantillo, Paulinho, de Queiroz; Gabriel Pereira, Gustavo Silva and Luanne.

It didn’t take long for Corinthians to get ahead of themselves. With less than a minute into the match, de Queiroz scored the net. The Audax even sent a ball to the crossbar with Marreta, but the first half ended with the Corinthians up front.

The advantage continued in the mark until the end of the training. It is noteworthy that Carlos Miguel, Bruno Melo, Edson and Joe entered the field in the places of Donnelly, Xavier, Gustavo Silva and GB.

This was Corinthians’ second training game of the season. Last Sunday, Timao faced Inter de Limeira and won the match 1-0. Target is also written by Du Queiroz. Midfielder Willian, who has not played against Limeira, took part in the action against the Odax on Wednesday.

Just in time: Corinthians make their debut at Campeonato Paulista next Tuesday, January 25. Parque São Jorge welcomes the Ferroviária, at 21:00, at the Neo Química Arena. Timão is on set with Inter de Limeira, Guarani and Água Santa.

Sylvinho’s team returns to practice on Thursday afternoon. On Friday, the group will have activity in two shifts, while on the weekend the training will be in the morning.
