Instagram, the photo and video social network owned by Mark Zuckerberg, heralds a new kind of interaction. The idea is to present Private Likes on Instagram Storiesso that users can like a post without having to send a direct message (DM).

Until then, Instagram users have two options for interacting with Stories: reply or reply. In reflexes, there are eight substitutions for emotions. In this sense, the person who posted the story and the person who drew a reaction keep a record of that interaction in the direct message section.

The feature was announced by Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram, through a video posted to his Twitter, in which a Like Stories button appears between the kite to send direct messages and a space to write these messages.
