Jundiaiense gets up early to anticipate the third dose

Hundreds of people woke up very early Friday (3) and headed to Parque da Ufa, in Jundiaí, to take the third dose of the coronavirus vaccine, or “booster”. No appointment required.

The Health Promotion Management Unit (UGPS) reports that, on the recommendation of the Secretary of State for Health, the additional dose interval for Covid-19 vaccine has been reduced from 5 to 4 months.

This action was taken due to the current epidemiological scenario of the disease in the world and the approaching holiday season.

People who have taken two doses of Coronavac, AstraZeneca, and Pfizer immunizing agents can look for a vaccination center for application, without needing an appointment.

At Parque da Uva and the former UBS Jardim do Lago, service is from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

For those over 60, a drive-in service is offered at Parque da Uva, also from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or this audience can receive a dose in UBSs, without an appointment, at Morning.

Jundiaí also administers an extra dose at vaccination centers for people who have received one dose of Janssen’s immunizing agent for at least 61 days. The vaccine used is Pfizer.

On the Jundiaí City Hall website, on the vaccination calendar page, it is possible to consult the time of application of doses.
