Rock bottom: Only one online player is registered in the fall of Babylon

Most of the time, when we say “nobody’s playing” a particular game, we’re using the power of the expression. Just look at the numbers, no matter how low, to see that there are hundreds and even thousands of players dedicating time to a title.

This certainly does not appear to be the case. fall of Babylon, address issued by Square Enix. On May 4th, for the whole 24 hours, it was recorded in steam Only one player online. That’s right: only one hero ventured and played.

The fall of Babylon is the biggest failure of 2022

It has only been more than two months since the game was launched and the developers promised that it could become a “live game”, full of opportunities. Online player registration appears to be the bottom line so far. On average, there are 30-60 player records most of the time – which is just as unimportant.

It’s worth noting that these numbers refer only to Steam, which means we can get more heroes to enjoy the game on PS5 and PS4. Even the company’s older titles like Avengers and Outriders, while far from successful, have posted numbers much higher than that – 276 and 862 on average, respectively.

At least for now, neither Square Enix nor Platinum Games are thrown in the towel.. The companies recently announced that despite acknowledging the poor results, Maintain plan to develop more content for the game in order to keep it active. The company has reached Ask the audience for help.

It remains to be seen how long this insistence will last, as numbers much better than these were enough to close more promising projects in other companies.
