Scare: water tank broke and flooded the building in Abukarana

Apucarana firefighters were called Thursday morning (19), after a water tank crashed into the Unimed building, in Rua Des. Clutario Portugal, in the center of the municipality.

After the fracture, the slab supporting the water tank sagged. According to Lieutenant Anna Paola Zanlorenzi, a female employee sustained minor injuries to her leg and was taken to hospital. The building was evacuated because it was flooded.

The Municipal Civil Guard controls the traffic. Unimed Apucarana issued a note about the rupture of the water tank.

Unimed Apucarana explains that the accident this morning at the co-op premises, in which a small part of the slab supporting the water tank had subsided, caused a flood on the top floor of the building, causing some physical data.

All staff and patients have been safely removed by the Unimed Apucarana team, which recently underwent fire brigade training.

The fire department was called and checked the place. In order for there to be a safe return to work, Unimed Apucarana is awaiting the opinion of the engineer and the construction company responsible for the work.
