Friday morning at CT Dr. Joachim Grava marked Corinthians’ penultimate training session ahead of his Brazilian Championship debut against Botafogo. In today’s training, coach Vitor Pereira relied on the return of three athletes and saw two more enter the physical transition phase.
The Parque São Jorge club’s medical department then updated four out of five athletes. Raul Gustavo, Wagner and Junior Moraes concluded the transition with physical preparation and training with the group naturally. The defender had felt the posterior muscle in his right thigh last week, the side had an injury to his left thigh and the striker was suffering from lower back pain.
midfielders Luanwith discomfort in the hip and Rowan Oliveirawho underwent a surgical revision to his left knee, began transitional work with the physical preparation team.
The group returns to training next Saturday, when the list of teams related to the confrontation that coincides with the first round of the Brazilian League will be announced. The fourth game is scheduled to take place on Sunday evening, at Nilton Santos Stadium. It is worth remembering that in this match, Wagner’s team, even recovering, will not play because it is suspended.
